Reluctantly, we listed our house with a broker. I didn’t want to give up the money for a commission. I am grateful we were referred to Craig. In an industry that I feel is full of hucksters, Craig was the consummate professional. He was a calming presence in a chaotic process. Never had met Craig before but I am so glad we did. My wife and I were looking to move from the Boston area to start a family and raise our children in Vermont (Waterbury/Stowe area), Craig helped us make this dream come true. Well, it was the one we chose. Buying a property is never easy. That is especially so when you are buying from half the country away. Craig took care of absolutely EVERYTHING for us. Now, we’re preparing to break ground on our retirement home.

Craig Santenello worked with us to transition from our home of 17 years to our next residence. He was more responsive, supportive and knowledgeable than we could have imagined! Craig helped us immensely in our relocation to Vermont from the West Coast. He knows the area so well and was able to help us find the right town and community for our family. He was patient with us as we took our time and looked at a lot of houses. He was always extremely prompt in his responses to our questions. The most helpful part of the whole process was his helping us close early, allowing us to get into our new house before school started for our boys.

Craig has gone from realtor to friend over the past few years. He had the patience to get to know us, our needs, and our family intimately and share in the joys and struggles with the process. We feel Craig always had our interests at heart even at the expense of his commission which other short-sighted realtors would have realized years ago in our journey. For this reason, we respect Craig and his family so much. It is nice to finish a transaction like this through to the end and know you will be happy to bump into all parties involved in the future.

Craig made sure we had top-notch pictures online and provided great advice. When push came to shove for some last-minute work required to sell our house, Craig took the reigns and made sure the people doing the work got it done on time. He also stuck his neck out to make sure we received a fair valuation on our home based on the work we had done. Craig is great and I highly recommend him!
